This year’s Brno Biennial 2008 international competition will be opened at
the Moravian Gallery in Brno on 17 June. Yet, the names of artists whose
works will be exhibited in the main Biennial show are already known.
The Pre-selection Committee meeting of the 23rd International Biennial of
Graphic Design Brno 2008 took place at the Moravian Gallery in Brno on 22
and 23 January 2008. During the two rounds of proceedings, altogether 1,600
exhibits of 388 artists from 39 countries were judged. The final selection
includes more than 600 exhibits of 143 artists from 26 countries.
The full list of artists who will take part with their works in the
competition for the prestigious Grand Prix of Brno Biennial 2008 is
available on the Moravian Gallery website. The list of participants is
accompanied with examples of selected works.
