The “Work from...” exhibition series strives to map graphic design and its development in a concrete country (Work from Switzerland, Brno Biennale 2004) or place (Work from Tokyo, Brno Biennale 1998). The first show of the series took place in 1996 (Work from London). This year’s Brno Biennale introduces artwork from China.

For this exhibition, the Macao Museum of Art has invited 23 representative graphic designers from Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macao to display almost 100 pieces of work in this exhibition. All of these graphic design works possess their own artistic individuality as well as the unique Chinese cultural characteristics.
